Mordichai the Bible Guy - Following Jesus Christ

Welcome to Mordichai the Bible Guy Ministries™

Matthew 6:33 - "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Mordichai the Bible Guy Ministries™ is dedicated to sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ through Biblical teaching, discipleship resources, and compassionate outreach. Our foundation is built on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His command to love God and love others.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). This truth drives everything we do—from our online ministry to our work with children in Africa and the homeless in North America.

We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ transforms lives, bringing salvation, healing, and purpose. Through Christ-centered Biblical teaching, we aim to equip believers to grow in their faith and share the Good News with others.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Bible teaches that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. Through His sacrifice, we can receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.

If you haven't yet made the decision to follow Jesus, we invite you to:

  • Acknowledge that you're a sinner in need of salvation (Romans 3:23)
  • Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10)
  • Confess Jesus as Lord of your life and commit to following Him (Romans 10:13)

This simple step of faith begins a lifelong journey of growing in relationship with Christ and experiencing His transforming power in your life.

Our Christ-Centered Ministry

Following Jesus' example of compassion and service, Mordichai the Bible Guy Ministries™ is committed to both sharing the Gospel and meeting physical needs. Jesus said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13:35).

Our ministry focuses on three core areas that reflect Jesus' heart:

Biblical Teaching

Jesus taught with authority and compassion. We share Christ-centered Biblical teaching through our online platforms, books, and videos to help people understand God's Word and apply it to their lives.

Compassionate Outreach

Jesus fed the hungry and cared for the marginalized. We provide support to children in Africa and homeless individuals in North America, demonstrating Christ's love through practical help.

Prayer & Discipleship

Jesus prayed regularly and invested in His disciples. We offer prayer support and discipleship resources to help believers grow in their relationship with Christ and spiritual maturity.

Matthew 25:35-40 reminds us, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink...Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Through our ministry, we aim to make Jesus' love known across the globe.

Jesus' Teachings for Today

Jesus Christ's teachings are timeless and relevant for our daily lives. As followers of Christ, we seek to understand and apply His words to our modern challenges and questions.

The Sermon on the Mount

Jesus' most famous discourse (Matthew 5-7) teaches us about kingdom living, including the Beatitudes, prayer, fasting, and building our lives on the solid foundation of Christ.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." - Matthew 7:24

The Parables of Jesus

Jesus used powerful stories to illustrate spiritual truths about God's kingdom, our relationship with Him, and how we should live. These parables continue to reveal God's heart and wisdom.

"With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand." - Mark 4:33

The Great Commission

Jesus' final command to His disciples guides our ministry: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." - Matthew 28:20

Today's Word: Walking with Jesus

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

- John 15:5

Abiding in Christ

Jesus used the powerful metaphor of a vine and branches to illustrate our need for constant connection with Him. Just as branches cannot produce fruit when separated from the vine, we cannot produce spiritual fruit apart from Christ.

Abiding in Jesus means:

  • Staying connected through prayer and God's Word
  • Trusting His guidance in all areas of life
  • Drawing strength from His unlimited resources
  • Bearing fruit that glorifies God

When we remain connected to Jesus, we experience His life flowing through us, enabling us to live fruitful, purpose-filled lives that reflect His character and love to others.

Today's Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the true vine that gives me life. Help me to abide in You today, staying connected to Your love and power. May Your life flow through me, producing fruit that brings glory to the Father. In Your name I pray, Amen.

Frequently Asked Questions About Jesus and Faith

How can I know Jesus personally?

Jesus invites everyone into a personal relationship with Him. Start by acknowledging your need for Him, believing in His death and resurrection for your sins, and inviting Him to be Lord of your life through prayer. John 1:12 says, "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."

What did Jesus teach about salvation?

Jesus taught that salvation comes through faith in Him alone. In John 14:6, He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This salvation is a gift of God's grace, not something we can earn through good works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

How can I grow in my relationship with Jesus?

Jesus calls us to discipleship—following Him daily. Growth happens through regular Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship with other believers, and serving others. Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit?

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to guide and empower believers (John 14:16-17). Being filled with the Spirit means surrendering to His control and allowing Him to produce Christ-like character in us (Galatians 5:22-23). The Holy Spirit helps us understand Scripture, pray effectively, and share our faith boldly.

How can I know God's will for my life?

Jesus taught us to seek God's kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). To discern God's will: study Scripture, pray for wisdom, seek godly counsel, and pay attention to the Holy Spirit's leading. God's will always aligns with His Word and leads to Christ-like character and service.
